BUTTERFIELD BIOGRAPHY Emerging from Marin County, California, Butterfield is a seven-piece group with a unique blend of alternative sounds, alongside carefully crafted hints of mainstream and rock. Butterfield had its beginnings in late 2019 when five high school students started jamming covers on the weekends, with only bass drums, keyboards, and dual vocals. Throughout the wrath of Covid-19, Butterfield found their sound, writing a slew of original songs and adding guitar and trumpet, which completes the current lineup. On vocals, Pearl Bindler and Kennedy Enslowsmith vibrantly trade between leads and harmonies. Tyler O’Byrne, on keyboard, accompanies these vocals with powerful melodies and energetic improvisations. Leandro Coppola’s guitar amplifies all aspects of the band to new heights, adding intriguing leads and unleashing massive, mind-bending solos. Diallo Garcia’s trumpet (and occasional flugelhorn) incorporate jazz elements to Butterfield’s distinctive line of songs. All of this is made possible by the Rhythm Section, with Arlo Jacobs on the bass and Mason O’Byrne on the drums.
