Sleepy Hollow & Friends!
Join us Thursday, November 24 for the inaugural Sleepy Hollow Turkey Trot!
Before you run off to gather with loved ones this Thanksgiving, we hope you will trot with your community first. Lace up your running or walking shoes and join friends, family and neighbors for a light, 3 mile loop (see the map below) around the Hollow. Whether you run, walk, or skip, everyone will be able to enjoy this mostly flat course.
Let's not forget about our little Turkeys. For kids 8 and under, there will also be a Turkey Dash (1/2 mile) so they can also participate in the mornings fun.
Participation is free; however, there is a suggested donation of $10 per adult/$5 per child to support Phase 2 of the community center renovations. Please register today with the number of participants in your household. See you turkeys there!
Turkey Trot Schedule:
8:00 AM - 3-mile Turkey Trot Start
9:00 AM - 1/2-mile Turkey Dash (8U) start
Join us back at the community center for post-trot refreshments provided by the SHHA.
**Butterfield and other roads along the course will still be open for regular traffic. Participants should stay in bike lanes and follow all regular pedestrian safety rules.***
