We are excited to invite you to a special Zoom meeting where the Butterfield Safety Committee will unveil the highly anticipated results of the Butterfield Safety Survey. Your participation is important, as these findings impact us all and will help shape our future safety initiatives.

The Butterfield Corridor Safety Committee, a subcommittee of Butterfield Corridor Safe Streets, continues to work hard to address the community’s long-standing concerns about safety on the corridor.  In the last year, a partial bike lane was implemented/striped, and signs were installed.  This change extended the bike lane from Butterfield, City of San Anselmo, to Sleepy Hollow Drive.  Travelers on Butterfield have noted what a difference this makes, the lack of parked cars in bike lanes is notable allowing safer passage in our corridor

The Committee conducted a second survey this summer to collect opinions regarding how the current safety of Butterfield is perceived and if there is a consensus of support to extend the bike lane to the north end of Butterfield. Thank you for competing the survey to help inform this work!

In addition, it is reviewing the congestion on Butterfield and Green Valley Court, impact on residents and the safety of the students who utilize this route.

AGENDA:

1.Insights: Gain a deeper understanding of the safety landscape at Butterfield and discover key insights from the survey.

2.Analysis: Our experts will provide a detailed analysis of the results, highlighting areas of strength and areas that need our attention.

3.Action Plan: Learn about the action plan we are developing based on your feedback to improve safety across Butterfield.

4.Q&A Session: Have your questions answered by our safety team and leadership.

Your perspective matters, and your attendance at this meeting is vital to our collective efforts in creating a safer and more secure environment for everyone at Butterfield.

We look forward to your participation and to sharing these important findings with you. Together, we can continue to enhance safety for all Butterfield community members.
