Young female athletes benefit from learning about sports nutrition to ensure they have the energy required for peak performance. Proper nutrition is essential for growth and development, stamina, and recovery. Topics that will be discussed:

-Benefits of sports participation

-Fuel for active and growing bodies

-Common mistakes athletes make

-Building the athlete's plate

-What to eat before, during and after practice and games

-Other benefits of eating well, i.e skin, hair and nails

-Body image and body diversity

This program will also include a 30 minute cardio kickboxing session that will make our young athletes feel strong and empowered, so wear comfortable clothing and athletic shoes!
